Two Men Shot at Home in the Valley Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person(s) responsible for the shooting death of 29-year-old Michael Noriega and injuring another. On Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at about 8:00 p.m., Noriega, along with a friend were inside a garage in the 8400 block of Amigo Avenue. Unknown suspects approached the victims and asked what gang they were from. Suspects then fired multiple gunshots striking both victims. Noriega was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and is in stable condition. The suspects are described as two male Hispanics. Anyone with information is asked to contact Devonshire Homicide Detectives at 818-832-0537.
