Child Abduction Regional Emergency Alert Issued

"Child Abduction Regional Emergency Alert Issued"

 

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the assistance of the media to provide the public with the following information to assist Law Enforcement efforts in locating three abducted children.

On February 23, 2003, at approximately 4:00p.m., the suspect (biological father), 31 year–old Juan Ayala, was last seen with his children at a location in the 4600 block of Melrose Avenue. He went to the location to pick up his children for his two-hour court allowed visitation. To date, the suspect has failed to return the children and is believed to be traveling to Mexico.

The children are described as follows: 10 year-old Mayra Ayala is a female Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 4’ 8" and weighs 74 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue skirt and black shoes. Twelve year-old Juan Ayala is a male Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 4’ 11" and weighs 86 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, tan pants, and grey shoes. Fifteen year-old Dulce Ayala is a female Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’ 4" and weighs 116 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black skirt and white shoes.

The suspect, Juan Ayala, is described as a male Hispanic with brown hair, brown eyes, 5’5" tall; weighs 150 pounds.
