Man Shot and Killed at a Local Restaurant
Los Angeles: On Friday, February 17, 2006, at about 12:17 a.m., a man was murdered as he sat in a restaurant in the Rampart Area of Los Angeles.
The victim, a Hispanic man about 20-years-old, was seated at a table at the Playas Las Tunas Restaurant located in the 1100 block South of Alvarado Street. A man entered the restaurant, walked over to the victim and shot him multiple times in the chest. The suspect left the location.
The victim was taken to California Hospital were he died.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family.
The suspect was described as a male Hispanic, 5’5 to 5’7, 25-30 years, weighing 180-200 pounds. He was seen wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt and black pants.
The motive for this crime is unknown at this time.
