Murder Suspect(s) Wanted By Police

"Murder Suspect(s) Wanted by Police"

Los Angeles - On Thursday, February 1, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department will hold a press conference to announce a $25,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in the murder of Mr. Mark Douglas Bostic. The press conference will be held in 77th Street Community Police Station, Community Room, 7600 S. Broadway, Los Angeles.

Mr. Bostic was shot to death on October 31, 2000, while seated in his car, in the 500 block of West 73rd Street. A second victim, Mr. Edward Stephens, was standing outside of Mr. Bostic's vehicle and was also injured in this incident. Mr. Bostic is survived by his wife and five children.

The Los Angeles Police Department is hopeful that with the reward the investigating Detectives will develop new leads in this tragic incident.

This investigation is being conducted by 77th Street Homicide Detectives Rocky Sato and Mason Burroughs. Anyone with information that may assist in this incident is encouraged to contact Detectives Sato and Burroughs at
