Los Angeles Resident Reported Missing

"Los Angeles Resident Reported Missing"

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Los Angeles resident considered to be an "At Risk Missing Person."

The family of Jesse Sylvester Ortega reported him missing on January 8, 2003. Ortega was last seen on January 8, 2003 at his residence on the 1100 block of Dacotah Street. Ortega, who has been diagnosed as schizophrenic, requires constant medication and has a diminished mental capacity of a five year-old. In addition, Ortega has difficulty remembering his name and may use other names such as Jesse Lopez, Genaro Lopez or Sylvester Ortega.

Ortega has been described as a 27 year-old male Hispanic, 5’ 7", 220 lbs., black hair, brown eyes, scars on his hands and possibly a full beard and moustache.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Jesse Sylvester Ortega is asked to call the Los Angeles Police Department, Missing Persons Unit at 213-485-5381.
