Missing 11 Year Old Gets Sexually Assaulted

Monday, March 22, 1999

On Friday morning, March 19, 1999, the victim, an 11-year old female Hispanic had been reported missing from the Rampart Area. The victim was befriended by the suspect who took her to a motel in the 10600 block of San Fernando Road in Pacoima. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim and left the location in a white vehicle.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was not kidnapped.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 5'6" tall, 160 pounds, approximately 30-35 years old, with numerous tattoos. The suspect's vehicle is described as a white, possible sedan.

Foothill Detectives are handling the investigation. Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact Detectives Malinka or Silverer, Foothilll Operations Support Division at 818-834-3115.
