LAPD Issues C.A.R.E Alert
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is
requesting the assistance of the media to provide the public with the
following information to assist Law Enforcement efforts in locating two
children that were abducted by their biological father.
On March 29, 2003, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the suspect, Boyd
Whipple, 39 years of age, abducted 5 year-old Dominic Whipple and 10
year-old Brabouck Sandoval from their home.
The children are described as follows: Dominic Whipple is a female
Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes, 4’ 0" and 58 lbs. Dominic was last seen
wearing a blue top and beige shorts.
Brabouck Sandoval is described as a male Hispanic, brown hair, brown
eyes, 4’11" 75lbs. Brabouck was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue
jeans.
The suspect, Boyd Whipple is described as a male Caucasian, blond hair,
blue eyes, 5’11" 220 lbs. Boyd was last seen wearing a gray shirt, and green
pants.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect fired a gun
during the above incident. This is an on-going investigation.
The suspect was last seen with the children in a 1980’s model Subaru, 4dr
gray in color. The license plate is unknown at this time. The suspect is
possibly traveling to St. George, Utah.
