19 Year-Old Dies After Being Shot in a Drive-By Shooting

 

Los Angeles: On Sunday, March 30, 2003, at approximately 1:05 p.m., a 19 year-old Hispanic male was riding on his bicycle northbound on Grape Street near 97th Street. At some point, unknown suspects, driving in a mid-size light colored vehicle, fired several rounds at the victim. The victim was struck by gunfire and collapsed at the scene. The suspects continued northbound in their vehicle.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.

The motive is currently under investigation.
