LAPD Officers in Iraq Honored

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at 10:45 a.m., Hollenbeck Area Police Station will be hosting a banner presentation to commemorate our officers serving in Iraq. The three police officers are Jon Kirkpatrick, Juan Silva and Elmer Peraza, currently deployed in Iraq while serving in the United States Marine Corps.

The ceremony will be conducted by Captain William Fierro, Commanding Officer of Hollenbeck Area. Also attending will be family members of all three officers. During the ceremony, a banner will be placed on the outside wall of the Hollenbeck Station in honor of our heroes.
