May 1st 2007 Demonstration What: May 1st Demonstration When: Tuesday May 1, 2007 (1st March) 8:30 AM Tuesday May 1, 2007 (2nd March) 2:00 PM Where: (1st March) Intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Broadway Street (2nd March) Intersection of 3rd Street and Vermont Avenue Who: "The March 25th Coalition" Why: 1st March The participants will assemble at Olympic Boulevard and Broadway Street. The group will march northbound on Broadway Street to eastbound on First Street. The march will end at First Street and Spring Street, the South Lawn of City Hall. Media Staging will be on Main Street between First Street and Temple Street, parking will be available in the same area. If an unlawful assembly is declared this area will be the Media Safe Zone. A PIO will be available on First Street and Main Street during the Demonstration. 2nd March The participants will assemble at 3rd Street and Vermont Avenue. The group will march southbound on Vermont Avenue to eastbound Olympic Boulevard to northbound Alvarado Street into MacArthur Park Media Staging area has not been determined; a PIO will be available at MacArthur Park.
