Los Angeles Man Dies in Downtown Stabbing
Los Angeles: Central Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the stabbing murder of a man last night in downtown Los Angeles.
On May 12, 2007, shortly after 10:00 p.m., officers responded to an Assault with a Deadly Weapon call near the intersection of 8th Street and Werdin Place. When police arrived, Fire Department personnel advised them that the victim, a male Black of Los Angeles, had already been rushed by paramedics to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. Following emergency treatment at the hospital for multiple stab wounds, the victim succumbed to his injuries at 1:48 a.m.
The man's name has not been released pending notification of his family.
