The Chicago School of Professional Psychology will honor the late LAPD Deputy Chief Kenneth O. Garner with the inaugural President’s Award for Visionary Leadership. The award will be presented to Assistant Chief of Police, Sharon Papa on his behalf, by Dr. Michael Horowitz, president of The Chicago School.
The President’s Award for Visionary Leadership recognizes Deputy Chief Garner for his dedication and service to the greater Los Angeles community, for his belief that within each person resides the ability to change, and for his willingness to break down barriers, open communication, and seek unity through collaboration.
