Detectives Seek The Public's Help In Murder Case

 

WHAT: News Conference

WHEN: Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Northeast corner of Avenue 28 and Figueroa Street

WHO: Deputy Chief Gary Brennan, Operations-Central Bureau Commanding Officer; 1st District Councilman Ed Reyes, Captain Morris Smith, Northeast Area Commanding Officer; Northeast Homicide Detectives; Mr. Sean William’s Family

Los Angeles: On Saturday, January 31, 2004, at about 1:00 a.m., Northeast Area patrol officers responded to a radio call, "Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Shots Fired" in the 500 block of Avenue 28 in the Cypress Park area. Three Hispanic men drove along side the victim’s car and began shooting at him. The victim then lost control and crashed into a building. The victim has been identified as 19 year-old Sean Williams. Northeast Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s).

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the Northeast Homicide Detective Burcher or Detective Ortiz, at 213-847-4261. On weekends and during off-hours, contact the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk, at 1-877-LAWFULL or 1-877-529-3855.
