Los Angeles: Within the last month, West Los Angeles and Wilshire Division have been experiencing a rash of incidents involving the same suspect and same MO.

The suspect has been able to swindle thousands of dollars from unsuspecting victims. The suspect is usually driving a rental vehicle (new model, silver in color, 4-Door, NFD) and approaches victims as they are walking along the street. He usually asks for directions to the airport and describes himself as Italian. He explains he is in need of money and promises to pay them back when he gets back home to Italy. The suspect convinces the victims to go with him and drive to their bank so they can withdraw money for him.

He is primarily targeting Asian victims. He is described as a White, mid 20s, blonde hair, possibly blue eyes, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet and thin build. The suspect has a distinctive tattoo of a Native American "Dream Catcher" on his upper right arm.
