Hit and Run Suspect Sought in Sun Valley

Los Angeles: A man in his 50s was struck by a hit and run vehicle and died at a local hospital.

On Thursday, November 10, 2005, at about 6:15 PM, the victim, who has not been identified, was walking eastbound across in the 9400 block of San Fernando Road when he was struck by a brown SUV, which was traveling northbound.

The driver of the SUV fled the scene in violation of 20001(A) VC, hit and run felony.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of blunt force head trauma and multiple fractures. 

Valley Traffic Detectives are requesting the public's help in locating the hit and run driver.  Anyone with information is requested to contact Valley Traffic Detective T.
