"Los Angeles Police Calls Press Conference to Locate Friends and Relatives of Murdered Victims"

Los Angeles - On Monday, October 2, 2000, following an intensive and lengthy investigation into the murders of Yuriko Taga, a 38-year old female Asian, and her daughter, Michelle Taga, a 4-year old female Asian, investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division arrested Kazumi Taga, the husband and father of the victims. Taga was arrested and booked in connection with the murders.

The investigation into these horrific murders is ongoing. Based on the ongoing investigation, it is imperative that investigators contact as many friends and/or acquaintances of the victims.

In light of this, the Los Angeles Police Department will be holding a press conference on October 17, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. The press conference will be held at:

Los Angeles, CA

Investigators responsible for the investigation of this case will be on hand to respond to media inquiries.
