"LAPD is Seeking the Public's Assistance in Locating the Parents of a Found Child"

West Valley - On Monday, October 16, 2000, at approximately 11:00 p.m., citizens of the West Valley area notified the Los Angeles Police Department West Valley Station, of a 3 year old child, wandering around in the area of Sherman Way and Tampa Avenue. The child was taken into protective custody. Every effort to locate the child's parents was exhausted.

Today, October 17, 2000, at 8:00 a.m., West Valley Community Police Station, 19020 Vanowen Street, will hold a press conference seeking the publics assistance in locating the parents of the found child.
