WHY:
For the Operation Save Our Streets II Joint Task Force to announce the results of a three- month operational period which began on July 1, 2011.  

This federally funded homicide task force within the Department’s Operations-South Bureau was formed through the cooperation of commanding officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), LAPD South Bureau and LAPD Criminal Gang and Homicide Division.
