"Homicide Investigation in Pacific Area"

Los Angeles - On September 10, 2000 at approximately 10:00 a.m., 40-year-old Clifton Smith, was fatally shot in the 500 block of Brooks Avenue in the Oakwood area of Venice Beach. The suspects are described as multiple male Hispanics who fled the scene in a possible green foreign compact vehicle.
