Fatal Shooting Takes Another Life

 

Los Angeles: Harbor Area Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting incident, which led to the death of 21 year-old Malcolm Johnson.

On Friday, May 2, 2003, at approximately 5:50 p.m., Johnson and a companion were sitting inside a restaurant located in the 1300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, when unidentified suspects(s) fired numerous rounds at the victims, striking Johnson in his upper torso.

Johnson’s companion who was injured by broken glass during the above shooting, transported Johnson to a local hospital were he died as a result of his injuries.

The motive is unknown at this time and there is no further information on the suspect(s).
