Child Abducted at School by Aunt

Los Angeles: On Friday, February 8th, 2002, Duana Simmons was routinely picking up her three children from elementary school when she was faced with every parent’s fear; one child was missing. School officials said that eight year-old Kevin Clarence Williams was taken from school by his aunt, suspect Ramona Williams, who did not have permission to remove the student from school.

Alerted by the child’s mother, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the home of the missing child which is located on the 8900 block of South Broadway. Simmons told officers that suspect Williams is her sister-in-law and there is a family dispute in regards to the child’s welfare.
