58-year-old Missing Woman NR11233bb

Los Angeles:  The family of Teresa Marshall and the Los Angeles Police Department requests the public’s assistance in helping to find her.

On May 12, 2011, at about 7 a.m., Marshall was last seen at her residence near the 1500 block of East 105th Street, Los Angeles, and has not been in contact with her family since.  Her family told detectives that she has a poor mental condition, and they are very concerned for her safety.   Investigators and family believe that Marshall may have boarded a Greyhound Bus in downtown Los Angeles, bound for San Diego on May 12, 2011, at about 12 p.m.

Marshall is described as a 58-year-old Black female, with black hair, brown eyes.  Marshall stands 5 feet six inches tall, and weighs about 250 pounds.  A clothing description was not available.  A photo of Marshall is attached to the second page of this news release.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marshall is asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department, Missing Persons Unit Detective Merrill at (213) 996-1800. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).  Tipsters may also contact Crimestoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone. All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.” Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
