Support Section
Facility Security/Facility Services Unit
Responsible for overseeing security personnel and grounds maintenance personnel at Training Division facilities
Materials Management
Responsible for the maintenance and ordering of office and equipment supplies utilized at ARTC. Funds are also allocated to DTF and EP. DTF and EP submits requisitions (15.11) directly to Fiscal Operations Division. Fiscal Operations Division is responsible for purchasing all office and equipment supplies for Training Division.
Personnel Unit
▪ Responsible for data entry of timekeeping
▪ Generates personnel status reports, a/b mobilization rosters and other personnel rosters
▪ Maintains all personnel packages for ARTC and DTF employees (Packages for EP employees are maintained at EP)
Special Projects Unit
Responsible for performing projects as assigned by the Commanding Officer
Art Unit
Prepares art or graphics related materials for Training Division
Training Support Unit Parker Foundation
Dedicated to the professional advancement of LAPD by providing enhanced opportunities for training, education and procurement of equipment. It is not funded by LAPD, but funded by a group of LA business owners who operate independently from the Dept.
Revolving Training Fund
Responsible for managing the Department's $1,500,000 Revolving Training Fund by facilitating documents and programs related to compliance with the California Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) regulations, POST training contracts, POST training reimbursement and management of Requests for Training-Travel Authorities department-wide. This Unit ensures the Department's compliance with State requirements, City Ordinance, and the RTF expenditure plan, and conducts audits and projects as assigned.
Weapons of Mass Destruction
Responsible for coordinating the Department's Weapons of Mass Destruction training.
