High School Teacher Arrested

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers arrested a Van Nuys High School math teacher for allegedly kissing a 17-year-old student.

Officers from Van Nuys Division arrested 59-year-old Iusmen Iusmen (same first and last name) for a misdemeanor charge of “Child Annoying.”  Iusmen allegedly kissed a 12th grader on her cheeks and lips against her will.  He also made sexually explicit statements to her.

Any current or former students, who may have been subjected to inappropriate sexual contact with Iusmen, are asked to call Van Nuys Detective John Eum at (818) 374-0090.  After hours or on weekends, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAW-FULL (529-3855).
