Bio

Captain Season Nunez began her career with the Los Angeles Police Department in October 1997. Throughout her nearly three decades of service, she has worked a variety of patrol, specialized enforcement, and investigative assignments.

After graduating from the police academy her patrol assignments included North Hollywood, Wilshire, Devonshire, and Mission Areas, where she also served as a Field Training Officer. Her specialized assignments included Vice in both Devonshire and Hollywood Areas and the Safer Cities Initiative within Mission area.

In 2008, Captain Nunez was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served as a patrol supervisor in Van Nuys and North Hollywood Areas. In 2014, she was promoted to Sergeant II and served as the Assistant Watch Commander in North Hollywood Area. She also served as an investigator assigned to Internal Affairs Division.

In 2022, Captain Nunez was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and served as the Watch Commander in Devonshire Area. In 2023, she was upgraded to Lieutenant II and served as the Executive Officer to the Chief of Police.

In 2026, Captain Nunez was promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned as the Commanding Officer of Hollywood Patrol Division.

Captain Nunez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Administration. She is proud to serve the residents, businesses, and visitors of Hollywood and remains committed to delivering professional police services while building lasting relationships with the community.
