Transit Services Division

Transit Service Division is responsible for the safety and security of all Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) buses and rails in the City of Los Angeles. The mission is to ensure the safe passage and movement of transit patrons and MTA employees through the transit system and to make the City of Los Angeles the safest big city and MTA the safest public transportation system in America.  The Commanding Officer of Transit Services Division is Captain Alex Baez.
