"Detectives Investigate the Shooting Death of a 43 year-old"

 

Los Angeles: Southwest Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of 43 year-old Joseph Lezmond.

On Sunday, April 19, 2003, at approximately 11:25 p.m., the victim was shot to death by unidentified suspect(s) while he was seated in his purple 1996 Ford Escort in the 1470 block of West Jefferson Boulevard.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics.

The motive for the shooting and the suspect(s) identity have not been established at this time.
