News Conference and Release of Composite Sketch of Murder Suspect

 

What:
Update on the murder investigation in which Eric Gelman was stabbed to death while walking to his car on April 17, 2005.

When:
April 20, 2005
2:00 PM

Where:
7917 West First Street
Los Angeles (The site of the murder)

Who:
Captain Rich Wemmer, Commanding Officer Wilshire Area
LAPD Detectives Cade and Holguin

Why:
The detectives will release a composite sketch of the suspect wanted in the crime.

Note: It has been reported by outlets that the murder was related to the Grove or the Farmer's Market. This is inaccurate. The victim worked at the Marmalade Café at the Farmer's Market, but the murder took place several blocks away.
