Juvenile Shot and Killed in his Car

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a teenager that was gunned down in the South Los Angeles Area.

On Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at about 6:00 p.m., 16-year-old Giovanny Diaz Mancia was sitting in his parked car in the 700 block of West 49th Street when two male Hispanics drove by in a Gold Dodge Interpid and fired several rounds at him. The victim was hit in the upper body and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to authorities, there is no motive for this crime and there is no suspect(s) description.
