Walk Through Parking Lot Turns Deadly
Los Angeles: 77th Street Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of victim Charles E. Brown, a male Black, 49 years of age, that occurred on Friday evening, April 21, 2006, around 7:40 p.m.
The victim was walking through the parking lot in the 3400 block of West Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles, when an unknown suspect or suspects approached and shot him for no apparent reason. He was taken to a local hospital and died a short time later.
The suspect(s) and the weapon remain outstanding and the motive for this incident is unknown.
