Sobriety Checkpoint in West Valley Area

Sobriety Checkpoint

WHERE:
Canoga Avenue and Califa Street

WHEN:
Saturday, August 17, 2002 at 8:00 p.m. to
Sunday, August 18, 2002 at 12:30 a.m.

Los Angeles: The intention of sobriety checkpoints is to raise community awareness of the Los Angeles Police Department’s commitment to minimize property damage, injury and death associated with intoxicated drivers.

Officers from both the LAPD and CHP will staff the operation which will begin at 8:00 p.m. and continue until 12:30 a.m. on August 18, 2002.
