Sobriety Check Point To Raise Community Awareness

 

Los Angeles: On August 27, 2004, the Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Traffic Division will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Foothill Area. The checkpoint will be located on Foothill Boulevard between Hubbard Street and Astoria Avenue. The operation will commence at 7:00 p.m. and will continue until 1:00 a.m. in the morning.

The intention of the checkpoint is to raise community awareness of the Department’s commitment to minimizing the property damage, injury and death associated with intoxicated drivers.
