Distraction Burglaries - Method of Operation

What:
News Conference to announce the arrest of one individual, who, along with others are suspected of committing several distraction burglaries in the city of Los Angeles.

When:
Thursday, August 10, 2006

Police Chief William J. Brattton
Councilmember Bill Rosendahl, District 11th
Commercial Crimes Detectives

Why:
The Los Angeles Police Department wants to make the public aware of the recent burglaries in the West Los Angeles area and the methods that are being used by the individuals. Los Angeles Police Detectives will also provide preventive tips to avoid being a victim.
