Proposed Increase Housing Opportunities for LAPD Officers

Los Angeles City Council-members Dennis Zine and Jack Weiss will announce a proposal to explorer public-private partnership that could improve the availability of housing for police officers in the city of Los Angeles.

Why:
Because of rising cost of housing in Los Angeles, Council members have introduced a motion for affordable housing for LAPD candidates. This motion would allow the public and private sector to enter a partnership and utilize the surplus properties in the city and develop affordable housing for active and recruit police officers.
