Bratton Affordable Housing Commissioners Why: Because of rising cost of housing in Los Angeles, Council members have introduced a motion for affordable housing for LAPD candidates. This motion would allow the public and private sector to enter a partnership and utilize the surplus properties in the city and develop affordable housing for active and recruit police officers.
