The US Navy Seals and LAPD Promote Physical Fitness

Los Angeles Police Department Training Division
WHY:
About 20-25 Los Angeles Police Department Academy Recruits will participate in physical fitness training with the Navy Seals. The exercises will include calisthenics and a 2-3 mile run.
The goal of the program is to promote physical fitness and fight America’s increasing problem with obesity.
Members of the media are invited to participate in the exercise program.
