Unidentified Victim Shot and Killed

Los Angeles: On Sunday, December 19, 2004, at about 8:17 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a radio call in the 1600 block of Lake Shore Avenue in Echo Park .

When they arrived, the paramedics found a male Hispanic lying on the sidewalk. The victim had been shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim is unknown. He is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 20-25 years old. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans.

The suspect(s) and weapon are outstanding. The motive is unknown.
