Burglary Suspect Killed While Running from Police

"Drive-By Shooting Leaves One Dead; Detectives Seek Clues"

 

Los Angeles: On Saturday, December 25, 2004, at about 9:00 p.m., 24 year-old Francisco Marrufo was standing with some friends in the 2100 block of West Jefferson Boulevard to the rear of the location. Witnesses said that a gray vehicle with unknown suspects drove up and stopped. An unidentified suspect(s) from inside the vehicle fired several rounds at Mrrufo and fled the location.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Francisco to a local hospital where he died due to his injuries.
