Man Shot to Death in Venice
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department detectives are searching for the suspects responsible for the shooting death of a man in Venice.
On Monday, December 17, 2007, at around 11:10 p.m., the body of Richard F. Winkleman, male white, 48 years of age, was discovered in an alley in the 2500 block of Lincoln Boulevard. Winkleman had been shot in the upper torso and died at scene.
Winkleman is a long time resident of Venice and there is no known motive for this murder.
