Traffic Collision Leaves Elderly Couple Dead

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, February 11, 2004, at about 7:00 a.m., a traffic collision occurred in the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Oak Hill Way in Northridge. According to witnesses, a 1995 Lexus ES300 was traveling south on Corbin Avenue and collided with two elderly pedestrians.

The driver of the Lexus, Ronald Fass, a 47-year-old resident of Northridge, was driving his 14 year old daughter to school. Neither driver nor passenger were injured.

The two pedestrians, Kyung Up Chun age 81 and Shung Sil Chun age 75, were married and were residents of Northridge. Both were transported by ambulance to local hospitals where they died.
