Foothill Division Officers Need Help Finding Missing Man

"Foothill Division Officers Need Help Finding Missing Man"

 

Los Angeles: On Friday, February 26, 2004 at approximately 12:45 p.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a radio call regarding a missing adult from the area of Astoria Street and Borden Avenue. The facility is a board and care home that provides medical assistance for mentally ill patients.

Upon arrival to the location, officers were informed that the missing adult suffers from diabetes, and takes daily medication for a mental psychotic disorder. The missing adult has been identified as Stanford McCormick, male Black, black hair, brown eyes, 5’11", 200 pounds (large build), and 51 years of age. McCormick has an amputated right leg and utilizes crutches for balance. When last seen in the Sylmar area, he was wearing a red plaid shirt and blue jeans.

Foothill Area officers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. McCormick. Anyone with information is asked to call the Watch Commander at 818-756-8861.
