Sexual Assault Suspects Sought

Los Angeles: Los Angeles detectives are asking the public's help in identifying two Kidnap/attempt rape suspects involved in two separate crimes.

The first kidnap/sexual assault occurred on January 13, 2007, at around 10:30 p.m. The victim was walking on Tampa Avenue at Hart Street when the suspect, driving a white pick-up drove up to her and offered her a ride home. She accepted and got in the truck. Instead of taking her home, he drove her to a secluded area and sexually assaulted her. He is described as a white man, between 40 to 45-years-old clean-shaven with black shoulder length hair, bald on top and brown eyes. He's 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

The second incident occurred on February 19, 2007 at about 6:45 a.m., on Hart Street and Independence Avenue. The victim was walking when she was approached by a man driving a 1990-1992, 4 door maroon sedan. He opened the passenger side door and asked the victim for direction. As the victim got closer, he pulled her into the car and drove away. The victim fought off the suspect and escaped. The suspect is a 28-year-old Hispanic man with brown hair, brown eyes and big ears. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.
