Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Harbor Division detectives are asking for the public's help in locating 1-year-old Jayden Santiago, taken by his biological father.

On March 9, 2015, around 1:35 a.m., Harbor patrol officers responded to a radio call of an "ADW Stabbing" in the 500 block of West 15th Street. The suspect, later identified as Giovanny Santiago, entered his ex-girlfriend's residence through an unlocked front door and proceeded towards her bedroom. The suspect entered the bedroom and stabbed his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend numerous times.

During the assault the ex-girlfriend suffered minor injuries trying to prevent Giovanny from stabbing her current boyfriend. The suspect then ran out of the residence and entered his vehicle. The brother of the ex-girlfriend tried to stop Giovanny from leaving, but was unsuccessful. Giovanny then threw the knife out the window of his vehicle and fled the scene. Responding officers located and recovered the knife.
