Man Shot and Killed, Detectives Investigate

Los Angeles: Devonshire detectives are asking for the public's help in finding any witnesses who may have seen the shooting death of a Canoga Park man on Tuesday.

On January 24, 2006 at about 7:05 p.m., Lee Carter, a 25-year-old man was walking home from the liquor store, at the 2100 block of Parthenia Street, when he was shot several times.

Mr. Carter was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The suspects were described as four Hispanic men.

Devonshire Detectives have already seized a car they believe is related to the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Devonshire Detectives at (818) 832-0532. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).
