Victim dies from stab wounds in Harbor Division

On Thursday, July 15,1999 at approximately 9:40 p.m., the suspect and victim were involved in a physical altercation in the area of 300 block of W. Opp Street. The suspect was armed with a knife which he used to stab the victim. A second suspect took the victim's bike and rode away from the scene. Suspect #1 entered a white, possible Honda and fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
The investigation is being handled by LAPD South Bureau Homicide Detectives Bob Dinlocker and Rocky Sato. Anyone with information regarding this incident may contact Detectives Dinlocker and Sato at 213-847-1310.
