Los Angeles: On July 16, 2002, between 6:00 AM, and 2:00 PM, Valley Traffic Division and Transit Bus Division will be conducting a Jaywalking Enforcement Task Force. The task force will be concentrating its enforcement efforts in the area of Sherman Way to the North, Victory Boulevard to the South, Woodman Avenue to the East, and Woodley Boulevard to the West. A pedestrian-sting operation will be conducted simultaneously at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Ranchito Avenue.

This enforcement activity is part of the Traffic Awareness Plan to reduce pedestrian involved traffic collisions.
