LAPD Historical Museum Open For Special Event


What:
Behind The Badge: The LAPD Experience

When:
Sunday, July 28, 2002
9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Where:
LAPD Historical Museum
6045 York Boulevard
Los Angeles

Los Angeles: The normally closed Los Angeles Police Department Historical Museum and Community Center will open it’s doors to the South Bay Hot Wheelin Die Cast Show and Swap. LAPD squad cars that were involved in the North Hollywood Bank Robbery along with the armor truck, which was used to rescue the victims, will also be available for viewing.

  • Tour the Museum in Progress, the Mobile Museum, and Vintage Police Cars.

  • Refreshments will be available from the "Cop Canteen"

  • Show and Swap on the set of Clint Eastwood’s New Movie "Blood Works".

  • Hourly raffle or auction of Hot Wheels and Police Collectibles.

There is no admission fee and free parking will be available.
