32 Year-Old Shot and Killed

"32 Year-Old Shot and Killed"

 

Los Angeles: On Sunday, July 27, 2003 at about 2:10 p.m., 32 year-old Lafayette Davis was shot and killed.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Davis was seated in his vehicle in the 1400 block of West 54th Street. An unidentified suspect approached Davis and engaged him in a verbal dispute and then for unknown reason fired several shots at him.

Los Angeles City paramedics responded to the scene and transported Davis to Martin Luther King Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The motive for the shooting and the suspect(s) identity are unknown at this time.
