Murder Suspect Arrested

 

Los Angeles: On Wednesday July 30, 2003, at about 10:45 p.m., 31 year-old Carlos Morales, a resident of San Pedro, parked and exited his car in the 200 block of West 13th Street. Two suspects drove up and fired numerous rounds at the victim and struck him in the chest. Los Angeles fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

A follow up investigation revealed that one of the suspects was 21 year-old Albert Pinzon, a resident of San Pedro. Pinzon was arrested for murder on July 31, 2003, at 7:40 a.m. and is being held on $1,000,000.00 bail. The second suspect is still at large.

The motive for the shooting is unknown.
