Verbal Dispute And Physical Altercation Results In Death

"Verbal Dispute And Physical Altercation Results In Death"

Los Angeles: On Friday July 16, 2004 at approximately 2:20 a.m., Hollywood officers responded to a radio call regarding a "Battery Investigation" at 1698 Cahuenga Boulevard, at the White Lotus nightclub. When officers arrived at the location they were informed that personnel from the Los Angeles City Fire Department had transported a possible victim to Cedars Sinai Hospital. The officers conducted a follow-up investigation to the hospital where they determined that the victim, a twenty-five year old male, had been involved in an altercation at the nightclub. The victim had failed to respond to treatment and was pronounced dead at 3:03 a.m.

The victim has been identified as twenty-five year old Christian Bisceglia, a Swiss citizen, who had been residing in Santa Monica.

Further investigation has revealed the victim was leaving the nightclub with friends when he became involved in a verbal dispute with another male. The other male suddenly hit Bisceglia one time in the face, causing him to fall to the asphalt, landing on the back of his head.

The male involved in the altercation with Bisceglia was arrested several hours later. He has been identified as Edvin Keshishyan, a twenty five year old resident of Glendale. Keshishyan is being held on $1,000,000.00 bail. The case will presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration on Tuesday, July 20, 2004.

Anyone with information regarding this crime may contact the detectives at 213-972-2910 or 213-972-2901.
