Media Photo Op

What: Photo op for seized and recovered stolen property


When: July 21, 2006, at 1:30 p.m.


Where: Property Crimes Division warehouse
620 Commercial Street (corner of Vignes/Commercial, enter on Vignes)
Los Angeles, CA


Who: Southeast Burglary Detectives, Daniel Fournier and Steve Mcarthur


Why: On July 20, 2006, detectives served a search warrant at a residence in the
800 block of East 112th Street. A surprised discovery led to the seizure of over 200
items believed to be stolen property including 25 televisions, 170 stereos, tools,
counterfeit labeled clothing, and video games.

In addition, an outdoor snack bar shelved with candy and chips had liquor and baggies of marijuana mixed in and displayed for sale.

Detectives asked that the media show up at 1:30 p.m. sharp. There is no between time and you will not be able to obtain footage after 1:30 p.m.
